Susan Holve is an incredibly talented painter. Born in San Fernando Valley (Los Angeles area) she now lives in Northern California with her husband and daughter. Her paintings a reflections of the landscapes and life in her suroundings as well as her gentle artistic soul.
Rostislav "Rosta" Pospisil
(born 1950 in Brno, Czech Republic) is a Moravian artist, writer and stage director. His main focus is oil painting, drawing, graphics and stage design. He has regularly exhibited his work since 1973. He has had individual shows in England, Germany, Poland, Austria, the United States and the Czech Republic. During the summer Olympic Games in Atlanta (1996), he created an art garden for the Czech Olympic House. His works are represented in the art collection of the Metropolitan Museum in New York, as well as in many private art collections in the United States, Germany, England, Austria and the Czech Reoublic.
He has illustrated several books for numerous publishing houses. He works closely with the theater Goose on a String (Brno), Institute of Ecology Veronica and others.
He lives in Brno and Knezevisko, enjoying good cigars and Scotch single malt.

As had been said before, Filigree is a family business. Luckily, the whole family has some artistic talent so each one of us can bring something to the table. Pavel is our "cancelled Czech." Born in Bratislava, but raised in Prague and Brno, Pavel adds the European flavor to our store. He is our resident photographer, and he has quite a unique eye. His photography is a reflection of himself. In his lifetime he has seen and experienced more than most. His mother was a Holocaust survivor, and his father was a professor of art history. Pavel escaped from his home in 1982 by way of Cuba and became an illegal alien in Mexico until the United States granted him asylum. His photography started as a hobby. He enjoyed posting his creative photographs on Flickr. Other photographers recognized his talent and he started to get requests for publication. Filigree believes that Pavel's photographs represent another avenue for artistic expression in the home.
